The Holy Spirit inspired our blog.

Wednesday of the Fifth Week of Easter

Jesus said to his disciples:

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower.

He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit,

and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit.

You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you.

Remain in me, as I remain in you.

Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own

unless it remains on the vine,

so neither can you unless you remain in me.

I am the vine, you are the branches.

Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit,

because without me you can do nothing.

Anyone who does not remain in me

will be thrown out like a branch and wither;

people will gather them and throw them into a fire

and they will be burned.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you,

ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.

By this is my Father glorified,

that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.”

Emphasis mine:  John 15:1-8

Genesis 1:27 states that we are  created in their image.  But being in the image of God implies more than just looking alike.

Jesus lowered Himself below the Angels to become one of us. Hebrews 2:9

I just asked Google AI why Jesus had to wait thirty years before He could start His Mission, and the answer is, age 30 is the age that was recognized as full maturity, required  for Levitical service, and necessary for a teacher or a rabbi to be considered authoritative and authentic.

During those thirty years Jesus grew in His knowledge of His Father, His relationship with the Holy Spirit, and grew in the knowledge that Doing His Father’s will for His Glory was the life He was called to live, and He did!

Never forget Jesus had free will.  He constantly had to choose to do His Father’s will because if He slipped once (sinned) mankind was doomed.

Jesus, all of the Angels, and all humans are charged with doing the will of God The Father.

The Angels who fell, fell with full knowledge of God, and chose to NOT do the will of God the Father.  And, because they had full knowledge of God, their sin of disobedience couldn’t be forgiven.  Interesting enough they also knew this, and of course now they have set out to entrap you.

The advantage we have is we’re stupid!

And,

Because we’re stupid, God the Father sent his son to take our sins and nail them to His Cross, so we might be justified.

Jesus said to his disciples:

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower.

He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit,

and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit.

And,

The Vine we grow on gives Glory to God the Father by doing His will.  And you know this by the JOY you feel when you are doing the Father’s will.

And

When we are pruned we are to thank God the Father for the DIFFICULTY of the pruning.

Prayer:

If you want to grow in Love, Joy and Peace this is a result of growth in Patience, Kindness, Generosity, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.

Sidebar:

I want to thank Michelle who commented that we wrote Kindness twice in the above “Nine,” which actually made them the “10.”  We have corrected my error.

About five weeks ago I was sent a four hour Discussion with Fr. Chad Ripperger who heads the order of Doloran Fathers.  The discussion was about exorcisms.  His order, which he heads, spends all their time getting demons out of peoples lives.

What impressed me was:

How active Demons are in all of our lives.

Never forget,

demons have no power over you.

God allows a demon into your life to bring you closer to

Them (Father, Son and The Holy Spirit).

And,

This is clearly shown in the book of Job., read the first chapter if you don’t believe us.

Institutions in our society, movies, t.v. the press, large

companies, governments, and sadly the Church, have

people who are doing the  bidding of demons.

Fr. Chad Ripperger’s saddest statement was the demons

are now getting into the family.

Fr. Chad Ripperger gave prayers he uses to protect himself before he does an exorcism, and suggested that we bless our homes with prayers and Holy Water, which we have done. (At Easter Mass in Portland Connecticut, they made available plastic containers to hold Holy Water.  I took one, and after watching this interview, blessed our condo.  Notice the timing.  God working in our life.)

At the end of watching this talk I, yes I, came to fully believe we are in a constant fight.

And,

We have the tools to ward the demons off such as blessing our home, confession, communion, Mass, prayers like Psalm 91, and St Michael the Archangel protect us in the battle.

But if we don’t use these and other tools we expose ourselves to the demons roaming the world.

Below is a link to this interview, the F word is used two or three times by the moderator, just a heads up, but I, yes I now feel this was very valuable time spent on my part, and have recommended it to others with the same reaction coming back to me from them.

Click on the link, A photo comes up, scroll down to a second photo with a red triangle in the middle, click on the red triangle, Shawn, the moderator, opens with a 1 minute talk outdoors, a screen pops up to send your email address, delete, and the discussion starts.

It is a 4 hour discussion, I have and am watching again in smaller segments.

SRS #285 Father Chad Ripperger – Inside the Most Disturbing Exorcism C – Shawn Ryan Show

I have wanted to put this video out earlier, but The Holy Spirit said “No” until now and all you have to look at is the title of the blog By this is my Father glorified. This is where some angels and humans, because THEY want the glory by doing THEIR will not God the Father’s, have fallen down.

We reported earlier this year that the road to Heaven is paved with GRATITUDE, wow I can’t believe how this all  tied in together.
