BOB and Linda Garvey update, 8.8.26

** In general: Bob & Linda are doing great.!!

Bob’s body is moving a little slower these days, but he just turned 86 after all. They are both also only 6 months out of the hospital. **That car accident should have claimed both of their lives. Praise GOD.!!

Linda is also great. She is such a spunky, live-wire type of person. You could never tell that she had also been in that car. Bob and Linda are just as sweet and loving in person as they were through A Catholic Moment.

**I don’t know why he can’t contribute to ACM anymore. It’s very personal for him. I’m not brave enough to ask.  I would ask everyone who loves Bob & Linda to just consider what’s been written above. They’ve been through alot.

***If folks want to send well wishes to his Tues. page… I can most certainly tell Bob to check-out his old slot to read them.! At his birthday party a couple of us did the math and told Bob at his birthday party that he has touched literally hundreds of lives and most probably more than One Thousand… This fact put Bob in tears🥲… The ‘Actual’ math is much higher… 50 students per year x 45 yrs. teaching + Hundreds more through the Charismatic movement… and THEN, +++ all of his ACM followers.!  WHEW!!!

Lord God, we thank you for Bob’s wisdom, and Linda’s fire.

About the Author

Hello! My name is John Ciribassi. I live in Carol Stream, IL in the USA. My wife Elise and I are parishioners at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. We have two adult daughters. One lives in Senegal, West Africa with her husband and her 3 sons. The other teaches Anthropology at the University of Oslo, Norway. We also have a home in Mainesburg, Pa in the North Central part of Pennsylvania. My wife and I are both retired veterinarians, and my specialty is in animal behavior. I attended college and veterinary school in Illinois, where I met my wife who is from the Chicago area, and the rest is history! My hobbies include Racquetball, Pickleball, Off Road Motorcycle Riding, Hiking and Camping. I continue to enjoy the opportunity to offer what little insight I have on the scriptures. But I have always felt that the scriptures can speak for themselves. My job is just to shine a little light on them for people who maybe don't have the time to look into the readings deeply. I hope you enjoy and find value in my writings. I continue to be grateful for this opportunity.
