We must obey God rather than men.
The God of our ancestors raised Jesus,
though you had him killed by hanging him on a tree.
God exalted him at his right hand as leader and savior
to grant Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins.
We are witnesses of these things,
as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.”

In days after the Lords resurrection, His disciples mustered the courage to stand up to the Pharisees and teach and spread the word! Truly the Holy spirit at its best.

AS a person quick to anger but avoid confrontation even if I am in the right position, I find it hard to say what I feel when someone constantly says I am wrong! I have been told for many years at my residency that I was worthless and incompetent by professors over a tiny error. Words which resonate in my ears even to this date shaking my self belief a lot, however the constant faith in the Lord and Holy spirit to guide me in my professional decisions make me realise that just by getting upset or angry or even ignoring a situation is no solution to any issue!

Instead like the disciples who had no training formally but utter and complete faith in Jesus and the words He spoke, I need that faith in the Lord and myself as navigate my life through with humans who claim to be bigger and more knowledgeable ! It is hard and extremely stressful to be in such positions on a regular basis but with faith and constant dedication to the word of the Lord!

PRAYER!

dearest Jesus, I know I am not smart or educated in your theology and philosophy like the others, but I put forth my life to you for guidance and help me in my faith do what you please and not fall for worldly pressures!

AMEN

  7. In my fairly long life I sometimes have learned the most from the critics who were most harsh —maybe because their bitter pill is unforgettable! And sometimes the harsh critics were actually masking their own fragility. The wisdom and feisty spirit that the Lord has given you and which is obvious from your writings will, in the end, prevail. Stay strong in the Holy Spirit, Doctor, and please keep sharing with us. You are a gift to us all!

  8. Thank you Analise!

You share with us human to human…this makes you a beautiful person and a wonderful doctor. I’m often paralyzed from replying when criticized only to realize later that it was actually the Holy Spirit’s guidance in keeping quiet, process and then reply or not. The strength from above is with us ALWAYS when we walk in the Lord.

    God bless us all!
