While the pandemic finally hit home, my father and I were left unscathed to follow up with his treatment thankfully! (Praise the Lord). I sat down to type this reflection with a massive sense of doubt and stress, I am still unsure what exactly caused my super careful mother to pick a virus but either way, the entire system we had going in the house started to fall apart.

“Why has the LORD permitted us to be defeated today
by the Philistines?
Let us fetch the ark of the Lord from Shiloh
that it may go into battle among us
and save us from the grasp of our enemies.”

Not exactly my words but of course, the same emotion! I am at present doubting my faith, my health and even whether we are a good community to not take care and spread the virus. While my tiny state has a positivity rate of 21% and few deaths it does seem milder than before but no one knows the long term outcomes !

you wish, you can make me clean.” is my prayer today and for this week till I have everyone safe and sound . As we are headed to a resurge of the pandemic , it is time we move out and take leap of faith into the deep endless love of my Lord and pray!

P.S. I wish every one a healthy and safe week.

PRAYER:

In your hands oh Lord, I place my mind and body for a better situation. Help me to be clean and rid of all my issues physical, mental and spiritual as I ask this prayer to you !

AMEN

  1. The benefit from being tested is not immediately known, but the Lord permitted it in a variety of ways in my life. It took some time until I understood that His ways are so far off from mine; He allowed me to endure trial(s) to deeply submit to His holy Will. It was only when I got down on my knees surrendering “Lord, may Your Divine Will be done and submit fully to whatever You desire!” and begged for the grace(s).

  2. Prayers for you and your love ones. Trust in the Lord I believe that this new virus is the miracle we needed. Everyone will get some form of it thus getting antibodies. No shots needed especially since they only last for ten weeks. Plus these shots weaken our immune system. Stay strong my love. Peace Healing Love Gail

  3. Oh Analise, sometimes it is so hard to completely place our trust in our Lord. In my mind I know that His plan is best but in my heart I feel empty. It is then that I get comfort from the book of Job. The Lord tests us all and hopefully we become more pure and return to Him not knowing what lies ahead. I have added you and your family to my prayers because as a nurse myself, I understand some of your frustrations in both medicine and family with health issues. God bless.

  4. Praying for all of you Analise! Thank you for making the time to share your reflection with us, even though life feels so stressful and hard. God bless you!

  5. Dr. Analise
    Let nothing disturb you
    Let nothing frighten you
    All things are passing
    God never changes
    Patience obtains all things
Those who possess God want for nothing
    God alone suffices
    St. Theresa of Avila

I struggle with fear too. Hang on. One foot in front of the other with Jesus.

  6. Annalise,
How beautiful your prayer of struggles. I hope you take the time to really read the responses of your followers (comments above)…. So beautiful, it seems a blanket of love has been woven to surround you in prayers. Cuddle up.

  7. I pray for strength for you and your family. We all need this with any illness we go through. It reminds me that I are mortal and that life is short. But it also reminds me that I am not alone. Jesus is with you and your loved ones. God bless you.

  8. Thank you Analise. Your reflection today admits unrest in your life and surroundings. Your prayer beckons God’s call for help and healing. May his will be done through your faith, hope and love. Peace and healing be with you.

  9. “The truth of God’s love is not that he allows bad things to happen. But in the promise that He’ll be there beside you when they do.”
    Be well…

  10. My new words for this pandemic are accept and adjust. I truly believe in the science and pray all of us understand their our part in fighting this virus. Prayers for you and your family during this difficult time…this too shall pass. 🙏🏼❣️

  11. One of my friends posted this today. Know that we love you: “Maybe God has you reading this to remind you that when you face these times where you feel fatigued, overwhelmed, like you don’t have the strength to go on, that’s okay, Jesus felt overwhelmed. Moses and Elijah didn’t think they could go on. God is going to send angels to strengthen you; the right people are going to show up. God is not going to let you miss your destiny. He gives strength to the weary.”
Have a wonderful and Blessed day!
