“You have been told, O mortal, what is good, and what the Lord requires of you: to do justice, to love goodness (or mercy), and to walk humbly with your God.”
God is not seeking extravagant offerings but transformed hearts. True worship is reflected in the way we treat others—with justice, compassion, and humility.
God’s message remains the same today. He is less concerned with outward religious practices than with hearts that reflect His love. We may attend Mass, pray, and perform devotions, but these bear fruit only when they lead us to act justly, show mercy, forgive others, and live humbly before God.
