LOVE sculpture in Shinjuku.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion

Aren’t you glad you didn’t marry the first person that you fell in love with. If that was the case I wouldn’t have married my bride, Anna. We met late in life but we have been married almost 22 wonderful years.

Today’s readings are an expansion of our Sunday readings. This glorifies the Kingship of Jesus Christ who came to the world out of love.

Today is called “black Friday” by retailers. Material goods are not what makes the upcoming Christmas season. It’s Love. I use to ask my Dad, what do you want for Christmas or his birthday. He would always say, Peace and Quiet. Over the years I have considered my Dad a genius.

We are at the end of our litergical year and are about to start the Holy season of Advent on Sunday. Let us prepare the season with Love and not things.

God Love You Always

  1. Your dad had the right idea Bob.Only when we’re mature adults can we really appreciate the wisdom of our parents and grandparents.
    God Bless you and Anna.

  2. I love your reflections. It has appeared you have changed your writing style, in that, you write from a place of being present. Great credit to you. Stay well.
    God bless.
