Friday, July 24th in Ordinary Time

The one who received the seed in rich soil is the man who hears the word and understands it; he is the one who yields a harvest and produces now a hundredfold, now sixty, now thirty.

Matthew 13: 27 Where have the weeds come from?’

All farmers and gardeners know that you can’t just plant a seed and forget it. Crops and gardeners know that seeds need care. The plants need love and care and water and sunlight and weed and bug care. It takes work to produce a crop. Importantly, it takes constant care. Daily care!

So does your soul!

The routines of life are the key to maintenance of your soul. A healthy soul needs prayer, the Holy Eucharist, and more prayer. Conflict, sin and stress need the Sacrament of Reconciliation and more prayer. Basically, our souls the sacraments to thrive.

The Throne of the Lord; all the nations will gather there in the name of the Lord and will no longer follow the dictates of their own stubborn hearts.th

We can’t follow the dictate of their own hearts and still follow the path that God wants us to follow. That is where prayers and the sacraments come into play. This is the maintenance our souls need. In addition, we need the support of the other seeds that we are living next to us. They need our support and we need theirs. They need the same care. When we do that we choke out the weeds of this world, and we all thrive in the rich soil of God’s grace working in us.

Now let’s focus on the weeds in our lives. There are two types.1) us and 2) those we pray for. We always have to watch what we do because sin can creep into our lives in many ways. That is why we self-examine our consciences every day. The second thing is those we pray for. In despair I will pray for those relatives and friends who outwardly are not following the 10 commandments or the word of Christ. I have relatives who say they are prolife but believe in the death penalty. They are against school lunch programs and call it socialism but take their checks from the government every month. There are some of my relatives who are not in a lawful marriage. There are some who receive Communion who are not in the state of grace according to the Church. I am in no way judging them. I still pray for them. To the world they are lost but I still pray. I still hope.

God hasn’t given up on them and I will not either.

So today water, weed and tend the gardens of your life’

God Love You Always

For years, I would occasionally play without expecting much, just hoping that one day luck would finally be on my side—and it finally happened when I came across a testimony on how Dr Benjamin the great spell caster had helped alot of people win, so I reached out to him, he told me what to do and I followed his instructions, after 48 hours he gave some numbers to play, I did played the numbers as instructed.

The moment I checked my numbers and realized they all matched, my heart started racing. I had to double-check multiple times because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
