In response to Mike's question. Remember the presence of Jesus in us is alive and needs to be nourished just the way our life in human form needs to be nourished by food. What better food to nourish and strength in the life within us then the very body and blood of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Your reflection is a great reminder of God's passionate and deep love for each one of us. The knowledge that I have been given the capacity to love others as deeply as Jesus does, amazes me and motivates me all the more to view others as Jesus would. Too often I get caught up in critical thoughts, not only of others but of myself as well. Thank you, Bob, for your wonderful insight! May God continue to bless you and your writings.

Bob, this was a wonderful addition to the scriptures for today! Can you help me with an issue regarding the Eucharist? If God already exists in our souls and is literally a 'part of us;' then why is it necessary to take Eucharist as well? If Jesus is in the 'body' as God or the Triune; do we still need the Eucharist as well--and if so why?? Just wondering as this issue sort of came upon me recently after reading a book by St. Augustine. Thanks!!!

Thank you Bob. I experienced His loving consolation last night and the Joy filled me, just as the Psalm attempted to describe. I am grateful for these moments. It spurs me forward. God bless all.
