The times when we are no longer being fed spiritually at a parish, but keep choosing to stay because “it’s where we’ve always gone” vs seeking another Catholic parish where ones faith may be truly embraced? Or does that just become parish hopping because of new leadership? I’ve never faced a situation where changing parishes has crossed my mind. I don’t know if I’m holding on for the right reasons…or if the name on the parish and that security of being what we know has become our false idol?
