PK, I answered your second question first. If St. John wrote what we quoted and he did which is why we quoted the text not just made reference to the test, and the Bible we used was the official Catholic Bible, explain the text. Maybe those of us who are finite find difficulty in the infinate, and all we can do is accept that God is a God of Outrageous Love. Peace Fred

Pk to answer your second comment, I can’t explain Mary’s part in all of this. To me Jesus Not knowing He was the Son of God makes no sense. But, explain the passage we quoted from the Gospel of St. John.
