I thought of you and how you promote praying “the nine” as I heard the first reading at mass this morning. It was reassuring, almost calming, to hear the nine after the “works of the flesh”. Although hearing the works of the flesh served as a quick examination of conscience for me.

Thank you Fred. I started praying the nine a few years ago. Slowly, more peace is arriving in my life. I do not pray them in specific order. Does that matter? The order I “pray is love, joy, and peace, by growing in faithfulness, gentleness, kindness ,generosity, patience, and self control”.
