It sums up all we need to communicate with the Father. The Jews were not allowed to pronounce God’s name, because it was holy. But here we have Jesus equating God with the name Father, Holy Father. Those of us who have had a loving relationship with our earthly fathers can relate to a Holy Father who provides for our daily needs, and He forgives us! Sounds just like my father, may his soul rest in peace. Jesus said ‘ask and you will receive’, what better way to ask, than praying The Our Father.
