Your words really resonated with me. I’ve been struggling with the fact that some members of my family fell away from the church. I pray for them often. I’ve tried the approach of telling them they should go to church and why. I’m sure it’s not surprising that this approach didn’t work. I was sharing this with some fellow Catholics at an RCIA meeting and they so kindly reminded me Jesus was not a salesman. It’s really hard watching people I love struggle and turn away from Christ. I pray that the spirit will work through me to bring them back to the faith they were baptized in.
