We might end up in a dumpster or in the loving arms of the Blessed Virgin Mary like Jesus was.Original sin can ware us down to prevent us from loving or we experience Gods love and share it in second grade, or maybe finally on our deathbed.

Jesus said to love our neighbor as ourself. That means we have to love ourself before loving neighbors. Otherwise there’d be no basis for loving neighbors. “And” does not indicate a progression, but rather an inclusion. Father, Son and Holy Spirit is perfectly fine as are love, joy and peace.
