I am not quite of your advanced age (English humour) but have seen, and experienced, more of our triune God in the last 10 years than the previous sixty plus. You can read about God (his word) and maybe understand it, but experiencing his unlimited love and ways is a different matter.

And Yes – NOW- not hanging on to the past and not fearing the future. I AM comes down to us and the “Love, Joy, Peace plus” is real.

Thanks for the reminder that the word “poor” can refer to other situations aside from being economically needy. Of course, here in the U.S. most of us think of the poor as being just that…lacking funds. There are so many other “poor souls” out there. Some, who are financially wealthy and are yet so unhappy and always seem to want more. Yet, those you encountered in Honduras seemed to find their joy elsewhere. Jesus tells us, “what profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life.”
