I find myself being judgemental at first glance of people, I think we are all guilty of that to some degree.

I’ve been asking for prayer requests for my friend James who is having treatment for cancer. I’ve been asking his wife if I can bring meals, and she keeps telling me that she will let me know when she needs them. I never thought about other things like running errands for her or sitting with James so she can go walk. Also, she has a lot of dogs. Maybe I’ll ask if I can walk her dogs for her. Anyway, I’m excited at all the other possibilities I can offer because of your words. Thank you and God bless.

My town has numerous organizations that offer help including on called “Faith in Action” which involves volunteers from many churches. I spend time in another town where the need is greater but with fewer organizations to help. It is quite a contrast in community involvement.
