Cecelia and all who prayed for my husband, I want to thank you. He has ( at least in human eyes) a long way to go before he humbles himself before God and accepts him. But the prayers helped so much today. I could have never guessed that he would have let go of some of that intense anger by the end of the day. Prayers really do help us all in our needs and suffering. Thank you again.

Thanks Grandpa once again. Your words on difficulty really touched my soul more perfectly this time. I have heard it before. But now in my present difficulty, I am convinced that the difficulty of the disciples is greater than mine in this present time. I therefore have no reason to be miserable. But to rejoice more greatly than they.

Thank you, Fred and Holy Spirit for reminding me to be thankful for my current difficulties. I typically try to pray when I’m suffering, yet sometimes it’s truly hard to stay focused. My mind tends to wander more during prayer because of discomfort, but I am also mindful of God’s loving presence with me. Mostly I pray for grace and fortitude…I think that weaving in some gratitude will bring me more joy in the suffering.
