Bless you Joseph for sharing. The first reading is a scripture that I can well relate to, because about 17years ago, when I was trusting the Lord for the fruit of the womb after many years of marriage, I woke up one morning and I had a period again, rather than let it get me down, I just turned in prayers and thanked the Lord for him being in my life and that I know what His words said regarding fruitfulness but that it really didn’t matter if he chooses to make an exception and not bless me with a child, I told him that all I wanted was a love relationship with him. He immediately reminded me about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And that was the last menstrual cycle I had because shortly afterwards I became pregnant with twins. Truly when we let go, we let God rule.

Thanks be to God! Thanks Joe for such enlightening reflection. Indeed, it would be difficult for most of us to be giving praise and glory to God in times of trouble. Why not start giving praise and glory to God everyday and at every opportunity from the moment we wake up until we lay down to sleep. Trust me, there’s so much we have for which we should give praise glory to God, even in times of distress. This is a challenge for all of us…can you do it? I will certainly try my darndest…praise be to God!!!
