Really a great post and a reminder of some of what I feel constitutes the 'mystery' of our faith. If you can release yourself from the trappings of this world and turn yourself more fully over to God, embracing that which may feel 'uncomfortable' because maybe it's not immediately tangible, requires faith and/or contradicts that which is popularized in mainstream society - you'll find yourself suddenly on the truth path to happiness and peace.

I've usually felt annoyed by Biblical and Faith paradoxes but the way you've framed them is very helpful for meditation. The paradoxes are fascinating! Still annoying but fruitful in meditation. I'm so grateful for your thoughts! Thank you Steve!

The prayer of St Francis really sums up our faith and models a commitment to the mysteries of being a Christian. The connections you make to the reading and Gospel of today are amazing. Thank you for your reflections and help in sorting this all out. God Bless You

Really useful, actually. Thank you. I think I hardly ever think about any of the sacraments apart from at Mass or if someone is being christened. Worth recalling.
