I appreciate your God-given ability to find new ways to look at the scriptures, and I appreciate the humility by which you wield your gift, always pointing to God’s glory. Thanks for your thoughtful reflection Steven.One of the things I like most about this website,is that apart from Father Obilor’s Sunday reflection,they are all written by laypeople.(Albeit very talented ones). I feel a connection and a reassurance that we don’t have all the answers but we’re all walking on the right path.

Steven, thank you for your time and effort in writing your reflections. I enjoy your unique style.
What comes to mind from your reflection is I have sibling who listens to several pod-casts and forwards some to me of priests and other so called protectors of the faith.
I hear some who are not happy with Pope Francis, Bishops, and priest’s over the direction of the Church and whether professed catholic politicians who are pro-choice (or parishioners) be refused Holy Communion.
There is more politics within the church and I feel I’m better off not to side or judge.
Having said that, I do understand where you are coming from in your writing.
