Nice reflection Steve. Amazing what Mary does when she finds out she will be mother of the king of the universe. She also discovered another baby addition to the family, so she places herself on a difficult journey through hill country to reach Elizabeth and place herself in service to her. Kind of sounds like Love God and Love your neighbor right out of the gate to me. Praise be to God and the Most Holy Family!!!

I love this reflection on one of my favourite passages in the New Testament. It really is a family story, of Mary so full of joy for Elizabeth that she can’t sit still until she goes to share Elizabeth’s joy, and her own joy, all the happiness of being happy for each other.

Thanks, Steven for this GREAT REFLECTION. The examples you have given about your in -laws parties you attended makes me view your WHITE MAN FAMILY in the same light like my BLACK MAN FAMILY. After all we are all GOD’S CREATION. The Story of the Visitation and, for that matter, your inspiring Reflection make me hold this STRONG BELIEF that the GOOD LORD wants family members to be supportive of one another in the various aspects of our lives on this planet earth.
