As another reader noted…the earthly things…well, we are very human and it’s hard to avoid all that’s around us, but keeping God with us – bringing him to mind in all our difficult…and all the beautiful moments in our lives, we somehow stay connected to the heavenly. At age 69 I am amazed at all the stupid decisions I still make…all the blunders.I thought by now I’d have it all figured out – no. I really need Him with me. I need to remember that he asked us to show mercy. I need to chose love, mercy and forgiveness in all my interactions with others, no matter the situation. As one priest mentioned in an on-line talk – the Cross is the answer. He gave his life. We do need to remember he is with us every step of the way. And to look for him in those around us and chose love.

Very well put today Steven…its simple, God is with us…do I recognize him or are my eyes, mind and heart distracted. Wonderful reflection as we all walk the road of the 50 days of Easter…lets pay attention to who’s on the road next to us. Peace with you.
