Hi Steve I agree with your reflection. At some point in
our life good or bad stories affects our life. It's just how we understood it. As for me stories are lesson learned.

To Mark- I wonder why he didn't include the verse 1? in his comment about the title.

To Alice..you nailed it.

Hey Steven,

I read an article the other day and in it a David Warren was sited as saying, "...if God had wanted the whole world to be Christian, it would have happened by now." This of course made me wonder about John 3:16. In our wonderful world there are billions of people who do not believe what is written in that verse. I also think that many people say they do believe, but if they really were honest with themselves, they don't. And we all know some righteous people who fit into these two categories. This makes last last verse of today's Gospel reading a bit of a puzzle for me. Because of what was spoken by Jesus Himself, one would think that good people would tend to become Christian and that there should be more Chirstians in this world, but there aren't. If anything, it seems to be going the other way.

As for the title of your reflection, I direct you to The Book of Wisdom. Go to chapter 2 and read verses 2-6 with special attention on verse 4 and 5. The answer to your question is that in a very short period of time, no one.

Thanks Steven for your reflection. What people will say about you eventually depends on whether they like you or not but not whether you did good or bad because those who hate you will always have an negative side while those who like you will have a positive thought.
God bless you Steven for your continued teachings.

Thank you Steve. This really makes me think of how my story will be told. Very deep examination of how and what I do in daily life. Am I a good Christian? I guess someone else needs to tell that story. Excellent stuff Steve

This reflection is really food for thought. We can't control the stories that people tell about us when we are not there, therefore,we should always live as those who bear witness to the undying love of Christ.Thank you so much Steve.

Thanks for a beautiful reflection Steve.Reminds me that i am making my own story in the way i leave my life. To ask myself what do others see in me? Do i have a positive impact on the people i interact with? Food for thought.
