It is the struggle to stop what I’m doing, my ‘all-important’ tasks and to-do’s that often keep me from stopping and making time for God. I find that during Lent, I make more of an effort to do that. And then I can see how much God loves me. I like to think of Lent as a retreat. It’s easy to miss God’s loving guidance if we don’t just stop what we are doing. God bless.
