A sobering prospect, Bob, with wise conclusions. Every generation throughout history has thought that “the End Days” are near: futile as our Lord said No-one knows the hour. So is now different – it could be. The point seems to be that we must rise above it (even while hurt by it) and keep our lamps burning. We have the advantage of having read the last page – that God will win and return in glory.

Thank you Bob for a great reflection. Let us focus our eyes on Jesus, our Savour and King! We often worry about all the conflicts in the world, in our homes and in our hearts…and even the end of the world. But, shouldn’t we worry about our own world…our souls…our end. When we pass this world, that is our end. And, we know this can happen anytime. We do not know the hour nor the day…it comes like a thief. This is what we should worry about…are we ready to enter into heaven and face our Lord. Let us pray that by the grace of God, we will be worthy to enter into His glory. Amen.

It seems lately I’ve heard more about the possibility of the world coming to an end. Yes there are many signs that this could be happening, however time has clearly shown that this is just a repeat of the past and we need to be more aware and live in a more realistic world! I try to live in my own personal place of peace by living in a more loving and caring environment. I’m not a one for drama and don’t feed on negativity in my life. God Bless!

Thank you Bob. Amidst all the chaos in the world, I’m going to try very hard like Win said to prepare my soul for Christ this Advent. It’s a great wake-up call that Jesus should be the most important Person in my life, as we all head into eternity, whether that be at the end of our lives or the end of time.

Every now and then I turn off the news and spend some quiet time contemplating God’s love for us. There are wars going on in the world, but God will give us peace in our hearts if we let Him in. Thank you, Bob, for inspiring these thoughts.
