I’ve often wondered why God sent the angel to have Joseph and family flee to Egypt. Why didn’t He send the angel to destroy Herod, thereby saving the Innocents? God’s ways are so far above our ways, and His thoughts so far above ours. That’s the only explanation I can come up with.

ME…same thought. It reminds me of a story where there’s flooding and a boat and other interventios were sent to rescue the people, but some refused to take them, as they believed God will save them…until the flood rises and they end up drowning. We know that God works in mysterious ways…sending angels and little saviours along the way. Let us pray for wisdom and discernment that we recognize God in the midst of all that we face…especially when we need saving!
