Thanks Bob for a very insightful reflection. Great analogy…didn’t even think of the reverse way of looking at it. Yes, often our lives…time, talent and treasure are already full of many other things…often forgetting that God made it all possible for us and also forgetting to thank him and make room for Him in our lives. If only we let God in…only will we be made full and complete. Peace and blessings to all.

Thank you Bob, for the clarification on today’s reading. I was confused about this line in scripture, “When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and said, ‘Who then can be saved?’” Your explaination makes it much clearer. Their idea that the wealthy were the blessed ones and the poor lacked those blessings. Yet it is the other way around. May we all empty our lives so we can recieve the true treasure of eternal life. Peace, Joy and Love.
