we are now in a world of humanism and narcissism but in order for us not to be swayed by this world is to know the traditions. Traditions as to what Jesus is referring in the gospel today. Unfortunately, our church seem to be conforming with the world now instead of preserving and defending the traditions..how sad…

Thank you Mary for your reflection. I always learn so much from your instructive, spiritual writing. I encounter many humanists in my work. Your distinction between humanism and Christian was spot on and very enlightening. It is also fitting to understand our choice and role in being merciful and when doing so how it has the ability to bring others to Christ.

Thanks Mary for this instructive reflection on the words of our Lord Jesus Christ “enter into another’s chaos to touch it with the order of God” I feel that I have enough chaos on my own, but our Lord still ask us to trust in Him, be aware of our own weaknesses, reach out to those around us. Lord Jesus bathe us with the refreshingly clear spring that flows from Your Sacred Heart, purify us from within, help us to stand and be a light for our fellow sinners.
