Thank you Dr Analise! We all have a Mission in life. And that mission can change as there are seasons for things, there are seasons for us. My mother lived to be 96 1/2 y.o.
She had 12 children. In young years with all those kids she offered up her day in the morning. At middle age she could get up before my Dad left for work and attend daily Mass. At retirement age my parents helped build a church. In older age she visited the sick and took Communion. In even Older age she started a Prayer Army on Facebook for our family to pray for others. Always the Trinity, Mother Mary, St Terese of Liseux as her guide. So God uses us right where we are.
Analise, you are following God's plan, thank you!

Thanks Annalise. I can only imagine your daily stresses. Yet, you find time to share your reflection in this forum. God is working in you everyday in your interactions with everyone you meet. God bless you always! As for the gospel, this is actually one of my favourites... very profound. In fact, Jesus did come from the dead!!! And if anyone still doesn't believe in Him...we know what happens! Jesus, help us with our unbelief!

Thank you Analise. When I was a practicing oncology nurse I was not in the faith, but looking back I regret some things I could have done with more love and compassion. I know now that each of those people with their woundedness and pain was Jesus in disguise. Thinking of them in that way when they are in distress is a prayer in itself. God bless your good work and everyone this Lent!
