I received an email saying Pope Francis is here. Initially, I wanted to text my Mom and comment on the beauty of his arrival. However, I felt inspired to read the article first. I cannot explain the joy I felt as I read my Mother’s article. Words could never explain the Christ love I felt. My Mom did not boast or ask me to read the article. That’s actually what made the article have so much more meaning. My Mother testified the power of prayer. God healed a broken relationship between a Mother and daughter. I’m honored to have a Mom who completely devotes her life to Christ and lives her life accordingly. I’m so blessed 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 speaks about the love my Mom has for me.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I’m also grateful for the knowledge I will pass onto my children (& the generations that follow). Thank you Mom, I love you.

Sharing your exuberance about the pope being here in the USA, in the fifth paragraph you quite correctly reflect that emulating “our Lord Jesus Christ he shows us the path to our Heavenly Father.”
I believe Francis is doing just that and is reflecting The Way of Jesus, who is the greatest super hero of all time.
