Mary is my Heavenly Mother. She led my parents to become Catholic. We prayed the Rosary together as a family growing up. Mary never disappoints me.

Saying a rosary for Mary’s birthday? What a great thought. So often, when saying a rosary, I have the concerns of someone else as my intention. Rarely do I pray a rosary for myself or a deepening of my relationship with my spiritual family, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, Mary and Joseph. I’ll take that opportunity today. Thanks for the prod.

(A suggestion to Laura. If you feel you’re going it alone, you might consider looking into the Cursillo Movement in your diocese. Hopefully, it’s active. “The Cursillo Method proposes that we discover small groups of friends with whom we can share our lives with.”)

What a beautiful thing to have a community that shares its faith together. We have no such community here in my area of the USA. It is very much a ‘go it alone’ experience, a very lonely for a Catholic. May we all feel the love of our Mother today.
