Your reflections help me realize that I am not alone in my struggles. Everyone has times when their faith is tested or prayer life seems empty. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one but then I read your reflection and I know that is just a lie the enemy tells me. Keep being yourself because you are genuine and true.

You are not alone with such feelings. What others might think of me, often deters from talking about issues of faith. Even to the point of making vague faith related comments.

Sometime I wish I could say I just do not care what others think or respond when I do, but that apprehension acts as a restraint.

I too appreciate your column.

Dear Analise,
I have left you comments before because your reflection always speak to the heart.
First, God is the only one who gets to judge us! So what others have to say, doesn’t matter. What I am seeing, is the devil at work. He would like nothing better than to see you stop sharing! I am praying you won’t let him do that to you. If he does, he’s allowed the best author to give up what she loves to do. When you start feeling like you have nothing to write, call on the Holy Spirit to get rid of the negativity.
As I’ve told you before, you are an awesome author, and I always look forward to seeing your writing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, life experiences and gifts with us.

Dear Analise,as many others have already commented,your reflection was missed last week.
Social media,in any format, has the potential to wound,hurt and belittle.Keyboard warriors is a great description for those who hide behind their laptops,spewing vitriolic comments from their own small angry minds.
Please know that you are much loved and respected by readers of this website.All of the writers put themselves in vulnerable positions when they write their own reflections on the readings.
One of the reasons I like this website is that apart from Fr Eke,all the writers are lay people.Like me,they have had doubts,times of uncertainty in their faith and continue to carry on in their writing ministry.
