Thanks Mary; spot on as always!! A great reminder that he or she would be first needs to be last BEFORE getting too big a head or attitude of superiority. I was searching for one word to reflect on as I progressed through this Triduum. I made a list last night of words to help me dive deeper into the Gospels, but was not sure which one I was called to choose… Peace…Love… I kept adding to the list. The last one I added before going to bed was humility, and told myself I would pray on it, and I would know. Thank you for this Catholic Moment… Humility it is!

I keep learning new things each season of Lent and this reflection touched me in ways I had never been touched before. When you kneel to ‘wash feet’, you assume a position of humility such that you are close to the less honoured part of the person (which may smell) and you become a little lower than the person. Thank you so much for this reflection, and I pray that God’s wisdom will continue to flow through you, Amen
