As a friend of mine said after recovering from a life threatening illness, “He’s not finished with me yet.” God is patient and our lives are a pilgrimage, sometimes only slowly getting closer to the great heart of God. Jesus be with Harry.

I also have been influenced by “worldly pleasures” my whole adult life. I confess, repent, and fall again and again. I do all the things every saintly person suggests, yet I fall over and over. But I have not lost faith or hope. I know my Lord and Savior is waiting for me to come back. And I do…over and over.

Thanks Analise for your thought-provoking reflection. Yes, we often get carried with our everyday cares, we forget about God. Let us ever be mindful of our ways…repent, forgive, and total trust in God…all to the glory and honour of our Lord.
