Thank you, as always, for a meaningful and encouraging a reflection and prayer. I have several favorites who contribute their thoughts and prayers on this site. You have always been one of them. But I want to today I have, for the first time ever, felt the need to print your prayer to use in my daily life. God Bless!

In reply to <a href="https://www.acatholic.org/thursday-29th-october-superhero/#comment-20896">Anonymous</a>.

The thoughts when stopped and corrected to positive thoughts about that situation rewire our mindset and help us to see the good aspect about the situation of person. For example , I began replace a critical thought on a person with a positive one when I "bite my tongue" reminding myself that effort itself displayed my understanding of the act and train my mind to look out for positives instead! It takes a lot of effort and I am sure God watches us make that effort :)

Thank you for your reflection Doc.
You write "I have been biting my tongue to stop those nasty sarcastic replies and making an extra effort to hello people I would avoid."
I bite my tongue SO often. But what about the "thought" behind having to bite your tongue? I like to feel repressing those ill thoughts account for some good but still, God knows your thoughts. Is biting your tongue verses your thoughts the lesser of two evils? Thoughts???
