Analise, thank you for this very honest and thought provoking reflection. Most days I feel like the outward me doesn’t reflect the real inner me and then at times I’m ashamed of what the inner me is thinking and feeling. Turning to the Lord is the only way.

Hi Dr. Analise. Thank you for the gift of articulating what you are feeling. Not an easy thing to do. I struggle with imposter syndrome, self doubt, and fragile confidence on a daily basis. I speak to our Lord about it and I have the same daily conversation with Him! I heard a great quote from someone on Catholic XM radio: Just Do Today.
So simple and true. Asking the Lord to help me just do today.
The Lord only provided daily mana to the people of Israel and told them not to get extra for tomorrow (only on Sabbath). He will help us with our daily mana.
