“I have told you this so that
my joy might be in you and
your joy might be complete.”

I am no parent but my own mother often reminds me how parents dont feel bad when their child does something to upset them, they will excuse their behaviour as childish fuss….

God is our Father and a parent with the most selfless love, He wants us to seek Him for joy and comfort . He wishes to hold us all in His arms and bless us all endlessly but every sin we do and dont repent we are pushed further down the stairway to hell…

Todays Gospel is reminding us where our true happiness lies !

In Jesus.. as I watch cancer patients clutching to their rosaries and prayer beads and work their way through the treatment with faith and support! I realise how string a bond is formed with the Lord ..

YEs finding time can be hard but it is not impossible!

I am focussing on finding and placing my Joy in the Lord!

AMEN
