Thank you for sharing such a powerful message. I need it . I am a devouted Catholic however my strength has been shaken by my mother’s illness, as at times feel God is not answering me this time around. ???? How can that be?? Now I understand I need to focus on prayer and not on the problem … How sincere am I to God?? I need to trust in Him and His power. Blessings to you and your family.

Thank u very much Brenda. In Cameroon, we complain everyday of the political, economic and social injustice. But I don’t think we have ever reflected on GOD permanent justice which surpasses all the flesh problems we re facing. Let us pray and thank GOD for one more day in our lives!

Great reflection. It is interesting where this Gospel message comes from in Matthew 7. It is the last chapter in the “Sermon on the Mount” Matthew 5-7. Christ the Great Orator and Communicator is bring His message home. He is saying your prayers are answered and we are blessed everyday even when those days fall short in human terms and God seems far away. We have to trust Him in every way. I remember when my mother was elderly and she did not have a handicapped sticker as yet. I always said a prayer when I took her to the grocery store for a parking spot close to the door so she would not have to walk so far. My mom never learned to drive. Bingo, there it was. God Blesses us so many times that we fail to thank more than petition. He is our life daily. Brenda thank you for reminding me. Amen.
