I often wonder how Our Lord looks at death and it always brings to mind His own. He suffered died and was buried for us and has given us eternal happiness. Believe and let Grace and Forgiveness comfort you! 🙏🏼

“But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. 22 None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? (Ezekiel 18:21-23)

So true, JME. Dr. Analise, your belief and trust in the Lord will get you to heaven. I do believe that the suffering through illness like cancer is their purgatory. My mother suffered and died from cancer. She handled her pain with dignity and grace, never complaining. I was sure when she died she went straight to heaven.

Our works well never be sufficient to get us to heaven. Like someone once told me. Imagine heaven as an island. No one can get there by themselves. We all need the Lord to carry us there. Thank heaven for His land mercy. Thank you Annalise.

Thank you Analise. Eye opening Gospel. The rich man and Lazarus end up in two very different places. Lent is the perfect time to reconcile. Very humbling reflection. Peace with you my sister.
