Our Creator has talents for everyone, made to fit each person, particularly the elderly. Old age spent in waiting God’s visit they surely will not miss His passing by because they have greater sensitivity to welcome the Lord when He passes by.
Be encouraged to exercise all the valuable ministries of gratitude towards God. Discipleship [of Jesus] is to allow itself to be instructed and molded by your frailty, your helplessness, your dependence on others and may be always — on foot, running, going slowly, in a wheelchair … but always following Him.
Generosity is a habit – I have learned by turning everything – worries, concerns, finances to my Creator is generosity in its truest sense.
When I was raising my two sons as a single mom, I worked 3 jobs in a day and slept 4 hours for 18 years. still going strong at 74 --- only His grace made it possible. One is a paralegal - another a lawyer.

Analise, you are much loved by the readers of this website.Your struggles and worries are obviously a burden to you and I can only imagine the strain you’re under. It must be difficult to constantly deal with the challenges you are facing as an unmarried,Catholic, pro life female in a patriarchal society.
Thank you for bringing your unique perspective to the AMC reflections each week.
Prayers for you and your family.

Thank you Analise for being so open and honest each week. There are so many wise and thoughtful comments made already.
Jerry, thank you for the quote from Brother Lawrence.I hadn’t read that one before and it’s a beautiful illustration of how any moment of any day can be turned over to God.
Continued prayers for your mental and spiritual well being Analise.
Prayers for your father and for all those suffering from cancer and other health issues.

Cecilia, my mother had 7 of us children but every bit as busy as your Mother.
Anyway, her favorite saying we're "offer it up" our prayers, works, joys, sufferings, and sorrows every morning.
I still recite my mornings offerings almost every day.

Dear Analise, you are an amazing human! Juggling so many jobs for such a young age! And yet, as I read your column I detect an old soul...sometimes overwhelmed by all of what life is throwing at you and being a bit overwhelmed. And then I see the childlike spirit in you...eager to try new things but turning still to the Father for guidance and encouragement. I truly believe you have got this...you will be wonderful whatever you do! Be patient with yourself, God will never give up on you, so don't you give up. Much love and blessings for you and your family.
