Nice analogy regarding our earthly parents and heavenly parent.
If our earthly parents can be so caring and giving — our heavenly parent is infinitely more so. God bless you for your writings

I too was blessed with parents who loved me unconditionally and thus made it easy for me to see our loving God through them. There are parents out there who don’t treat their children with unconditional love. I can only guess that it’s often hard for these children of God to believe in a loving Father. I’m just in awe of those of you who believe in our Lord despite having earthly parent(s) who didn’t or couldn’t give you the parent/child love that was meant to be. Your faith has made you whole.

Thank you Dr. Analise. Lift high the cross! I, like you, am blessed to still have my “earthly” mother alive and well and she is the only earthly person that has loved me my whole life. Its comforting to know my heavenly Father loves me more than my mom.

Thank you Analise. We Carry our crosses through life in different ways. Some with sin, suffering and afflictions. By looking up to the cross and asking forgiveness we are cleansed and in God’s good graces. Hail the Holy Cross! Peace with you my sister.
