Nice thought provoking reflection. Do not beat yourself up about attending prayer services. There is a happy medium between your acts of faith and your acts of service. Without one you cannot perform the other. The time spent with the Lord in the prayer service gives you the motivation and grace to do a good job at the service part. Similarly if you only did the service part you would soon find it a “chore” and your contribution would slack off. Recall the Martha/Mary episode …
