Thank you for your great outpouring of support–for both me as a person and for the writing I do. My pastor has suggested that instead of thinking of what I have lost or what God asks me to give up, that instead, I start with nothing, and see what God gives me. This has made these days more than a bit of adventure.

You, individually and collectively, today have given me something very precious: evidence that when I write I can touch people for God. God mostly works in our lives through people. Today he has spoken through you (as he has spoken through you before, but today you were collectively so loud and clear). I am humbled, almost wordless, and deeply appreciative. Today you are an answer to many prayers.
