I always struggle with the forbidden fruit/tree and serpent story because I ask what prompted GOD to plant such a tree? What purpose could that tree be in the overall equation?
Is that tree there to show that GOD will not interfere with freewill?
I can only continue to pray for GOD’s wisdom to comprehend these.
