Lord,grant me the grace to live out this May devotedly to Mary,our mother of perpetual help,have always struggled participating fully in past.May I be willing to let Mary and Joseph hold me by the hands as I take a vacation with them.Thanks for the beautiful reflection and reminder Bob.

I studied the picture for a while when I first saw it. I see a strong but also gentle man with an expression on his face that (to me) shows he is on a mission to get Mary to a safe place.

Nice reflection, but awful picture! In it, Joseph looks as if he’s saying “what did I sign up for?” He has a look of drudgery, and it stands in stark contrast to Mary’s face full of quiet excitement as she feels her baby in her womb.
