We wore the same outfits to Mass today, as we did for Christmas Eve Mass. I proudly wore my very obviously Christmas sweater as a small act of defiance against the secular world, which, in its worship of money, is already celebrating Valentine’s Day (that’s what they call it, having taken Saint out of it). Our Christmas outfits were supposed to represent the Alpha and Omega. And, of course, the Baptism of the Lord is next week, but in our house, today is the last day of Christmas. We are still celebrating.

Our tree is still up, decorations too, including manger, and Christmas carols are still playing.

Who were they, really! What part of the East did they come from? Fascinating! In the end, it really is about faith Laura. How to listen (speak Lord, your servant is listening – I pray this before I read the readings of the day), trust that God is leading us to do something, and everything will turn out. I keep praying that everything will turn out.
