However in this reflection you present a perfect example of Reductionism in advocating that,” we just all get along “ as an oblique reference to the political and civic ills facing the country presently. Jesus always confronted evil head-on and today one political party has sold out completely to a vicious, ignorant, cruel, ignorant narcissist. A convicted felon who should be in jail. He has caused untold suffering to millions in the US and elsewhere! It is an instance evil that needs to be confronted by words and actions. To do otherwise is to cooperate with EVIL because of lack of courage and to avoid conflict at all cost. I for one conscientious Catholic will not cooperate with EVIL and I firmly believe that you should not offer up pablum when courage and confrontation as Jesus did repeatedly when facing evil did so
