For 3 consecutive years around spring time I lost jobs. How to provide for a family of 5 was very difficult. Two things pulled me through. One was a book given to me by one of my sons. The book is titled Gods little lessons on life for dad. I treasure that book. The other was one spring morning looking out the kitchen window a saw a little bird feeding on dead grass clippings. It dawned on me how if God can provide for that little bird, then surely He will provide for me. That was a huge conversion period in my life. Incidentally, my patron saint is John the Baptist. Birthday is June 24.
