Yesterday, my husband and I experienced the reality of God’s presence in a very simple, yet powerful way. We met two strangers who needed help and in helping them, we were blessed. As we departed from each other, we shared a hug and a heartfelt “God Bless you.” We were moved to tears, because the four of us, felt God’s Grace surround us, fill us, and unite us. I pray that this desert period of your spiritual journey will lead you to an oasis of our Precious Lord’s clarity, peace, and joy.

I’ve been struggling the last 2 & 1/2 years myself with what it is that I’m supposed to be doing with in the next phase of my life. All I can think is that God is preparing me for whatever that is in the interim. Like the potter. Apparently, I’m either not spiritually ready for my next earthy challenge or the people who I am to interact with in the next phase are still being readied by the potter. In the meantime, I just stay focused on serving others. It helps ease my anxiety while I wait.

I have a 10 year old son who was just diagnosed with what was formerly called Aspergers, a high functioning end of the autism spectrum. It has been a challenging, but most rewarding time being a parent. I feel Jesus helping my husband and I to navigate our way in guiding our son to find his special niche in this world. I love your writings. God certainly uses your gift of writing to touch the hearts of many. Thank you so much for your heartfelt and very moving reflection.
