Our priest told us that we ha e a story or multiple stories of our encounters with God. We should be ready to share them with others when we are asked questions, such as “why do you believe?” These are our tools for evangelization. I have had wonderful, amazing, inspiring, can’t-come-up-with-the-right-word-to-capture-it moments with the Lord. And I know that I have been inspired and comforted by others’ encounters with the Lord.

One of the encounters that has stayed with me is yours, Joe, when your son reached out for you during your moment of doubt while at Adoration. I found it beautiful then (brought tears to my eyes), but it has also helped me recognize the Lord sending my child to me with a gesture of comfort, consolation, and presence (what a present! Pun intended.). Thank you!
